Classroom: Join a team of compassionate volunteers facilitating learning about Jesus in a dedicated classroom for youth and adults with learning and physical disabilities.

Buddies: Provides one-on-one support and inclusion for kids with learning and physical disabilities to help them experience Jesus’ love and engage in the Bible lessons and activities.

Small Group Leader: Nurture the faith of kids and students (3-year-olds – 12th grade) through meaningful spiritual conversations, interactions and guidance using the Awana Curriculum.

SUNDAY MORNING

Small Group Leader: Nurtures young hearts and minds through meaningful spiritual conversations, interactions and guidance using the Orange Curriculum.

Room Host: Creates a welcoming and organized environment for age classroom to explore their faith in the Kid’s Ministry.

Large Group Emcee: Engages and educates young ones with enthusiasm and joy as the dynamic presenter of the Children’s Ministry’s larger gatherings.

Check-In Team: Ensures a smooth, seamless, and secure process for families to check in their kids on Sunday morning.

BEHIND THE SCENES

Behind-the-scenes work provides much appreciated support to our ministry teams. Your help allows us to focus on leading and caring for children.

Sunday Group Leader: Invest in students by leading a small group where they can build friendships, grow in their faith, and serve with others.

Wednesday Group Leader: Invest in students by leading a small group where they can build friendships, grow in their faith, and serve with others.

Campus Coordinator: Help ensure the smooth functioning of Sunday services and communicate via walkie-talkie to key Sunday gathering leaders.  

Greeters: Welcome people with a warm smile. Show them where to go for gatherings, family ministry, and other areas of interest.  

Ushers: Help create a warm, friendly, and inviting atmosphere for all who walk through our doors. Answer questions and distribute communion elements on specified Sundays.  

Info Table: Assist people visiting and needing information. Answer questions and provide literature or other resources.  

Refreshments Team: Set up and tear down coffee stations and snacks. Supervise that refreshment stations are well stocked and in order. 

Singer: Create music that inspires listeners to pursue a relationship with Jesus

Social Media: Use your passion for social media to minister to people through our social channels.

Photography: Visually capture all the ways God is moving at Bridges.

Bridges Compassion Network Liaison

• Learn the community’s needs through the weekly Compassion Network Eblast, sharing with Bridges to help match volunteers and families in need to meet requests and build community relationships.
• Help plan community impact events at Bridges, such as Easter and Thanksgiving meal distribution programs.
• Assist with the bi-weekly Bridges Eblast and follow up on responses from Bridges volunteers.
• Attend Compassion Network Liaison meetings (every 2-3 months) and stay up to date on communication and happenings.
• Spread the word about Eblast opportunities and community impact events, inviting more volunteers as part of the discipleship-serving vision of Bridges Community Church. Help build a community engagement team.

Christmas Cheer: purchase, wrap, or deliver gifts to families in need. Help make calls to access wish lists.

Hearty Harvest: Thanksgiving and Joyful Bounty Easter meals connection and distribution events: make calls, help with check-in, pray and connect with families, hospitality table serving opportunities.

Impact Days: help with projects such as the bike repair clinic or yard beautification projects.
