Welcome to Powerhouse High School Ministry. Our high school group is a place where you can join with other students to learn more about Jesus and to discover what it means to live a life transformed by Jesus. If you are in 9th grade through 12th grade come check us out during the week or on Sunday mornings during the second service.
During the week, Powerhouse life groups offer an opportunity to study a variety of different topics in small-group settings. Groups meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights in people’s homes. Life groups are about going deeper into our relationships with God, providing opportunities for discipleship, and building meaningful and lasting relationships with each other. On the first Wednesday night of each month, we have an LGR (Life Group Reunion) from 7-9 p.m. in the Powerhouse Room at Bridges. The LGR is a chance for all life groups to meet together to have some fun as we celebrate what God has been doing in our life groups, to listen to some great teaching, and to worship together.
From 11:00am to 12:15pm, we get together to hang out and hear practical teaching aimed at what high school students deal with on a daily basis. We also play some fun games and sing worship songs led by our student band. It’s a great place to hear about God for the first time, so invite your friends to come along!
Friday nights, service, projects, and special events
About once a month – usually on a Friday night — we get together for a fun event. We might go to Great America, see a concert, watch a movie, or get all dressed up for our annual Snowball Christmas formal. Twice a year, in summer and winter, we get away for memorable, life-changing winter and summer camps that you don’t want to miss. In addition to social events, we also join in a range of service activities, serving the less-fortunate in our community. Whether you go to Powerhouse or not, you are always invited to join in on the fun of serving others!
