In order to meet the needs of our community in partnership with other Tri-city churches, Bridges attendees can register to participate in a weekly e-blast sponsored by Compassion Network's Compassion Network with opportunities to serve, donate, and assist those in need throughout our community.
Compassion Network's vision is that all the congregations of Fremont, Newark, and Union City who are Christ-centered and are committed to the authority of the Holy Scriptures will be working together in order to see social and spiritual transformation in our three cities.
Compassion Network is a faith-based, non-profit clearinghouse which unites willing volunteers from approximately 60 local congregations with needy individuals and families in the Fremont, Union City and Newark area. As needs arise, the Compassion Network responds, by searching its volunteer database and donation listings in order to find the right volunteer or resource to meet the specific need at hand. Compassion Network also makes referrals to social services, and to partnering non-profit organizations. This broad-based referral process ensures that critical needs are being met and that connections within the local community are being strengthened.
