Here at Bridges we are committed to multiplying healthy, growing disciples. Chiefly, that occurs when God gives each of us the opportunity to proclaim the good news of Jesus with our lives and words to those we naturally have relationships with. As those people come to follow Jesus and we invest in their growth, they spread the movement of the gospel and things go viral.
This commitment to multiplying disciples connects with our commitment to multiplying healthy churches here in the Bay Area and across our world. Here in our neighborhood, God has been doing something very cool on that front. He has been bringing all kinds of people groups to live in our community and He has been giving us the opportunity and means to reach them with the gospel.
We don’t have a vision to build a mega church but we do hunger to reach more people with the gospel in a way that will effectively speak to them. Our primary strategies in local church multiplication therefore have been focused on growing different language services, giving ourselves away through church planting and connecting with like minded church partnerships. Each of these opportunities is bearing fruit for God’s Kingdom and fills a unique part of the Bridges family.
In each of these works, we share a common commitment to Christ and the gospel, to our core theology, to general philosophy of ministry, and to healthy leadership connection. Each work is birthed out of our desire to make multiplying disciples of every people.
Presently we are honored to have services in Mandarin, English, Cantonese, Filipino (using English and multiple dialects), and Romanian. Our latest church plant is Resonate Church. For more
