Mark Eshelman: Mark was born into a Christian family and discovered God for himself at age 10.  Through his teen years, Mark tried to be “good,” but found that the more he tried the more he couldn’t make it. In his twenties, Mark discovered that God is faithful and life change is brought about by trusting God and living the relationship. Mark’s married and has a wonderful wife and 2 children. He is a scientist by training, but also holds a degree in Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Teaching is what Mark enjoys in service to the church.

Ken Jung: Ken’s post-graduate studies include theology, literary/cultural studies, and theology/religious studies. Having lived overseas for ten years, Ken is excited to be in the US and California in particular. He was an adjunct teacher at Biola University and Tompkins Cortland Community College. Besides eating fun dishes like haggis and pigeon, Ken enjoys hanging out with his family and getting lost on their vacation travels. Presently, he’s on a health quest and loves to disciple/mentor Christians.

James Wu: James has a BS degree in mechanical engineering, and is currently working as a sales and marketing professional for IBM.  He and his wife (Doris) have 2 daughters (Samantha, Sarah-Grace), and the family enjoys many different activities together including skiing, bike riding, and swimming.  Personally, he enjoys a good game of basketball (especially at Bridges!), and hopes to be able to play for many more years.

Wade Walter: Wade has been a member of Bridges Community Church for over 35 years and graduated from Tabor College (a Christian college in Kansas).  Wade’s late wife (Joanne) were married for 38 years. He has 2 grown daughters and 2 wonderful granddaughters. Wade’s hobbies include reading, travelling, and ballroom dancing (he teaches on cruises!). A former owner of a forms distributorship business for 35 years, Wade is fully retired and has a passion for peacemaking.
