Bridges Core Classes

Connected
(membership class)

Learn more about where our church came from, what we value and believe, and where we’re headed. We also share about having a dynamic relationship with Christ, our commitment to the Scriptures, and Christian community. At the end of the session, you can decide if you want to become a church member. Elders will be there to walk you through the process.

Growing in Faith

Have you had the opportunity to learn the foundations for spiritual growth? Growing in Faith introduces you to a Christian worldview and helps you develop a dynamic relationship with God. You will learn how five essentials—Scripture Reading, Prayer, Community, Giving, and Sharing Your Faith will impact your world for Christ.

S.H.A.P.E. (find a place to serve)

Did you know that God created you with special gifts for supporting, loving, and serving other people? God has uniquely designed all of us to serve—not just those in full-time vocational ministry. In this course you will learn how God uses your Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences (S.H.A.P.E.) to serve and minister to others.

The Life We Are Meant to Live: Being Christ-Followers

This course introduces students to a “theology of discipleship.” The Life We Are Meant to Live will introduce you to the key elements of being a Christ-follower (spiritual formation, missional, and multiplication). In addition, this course highlights the developmental process for “disciple-making.”

OTHERS (Not Core Classes):

Bridges Open House

Are you new to the church or just want to know more about us? Do you have a few questions you would like to ask about worship, small groups, or ministries for children and students? Come join the staff for a free lunch and tour our facilities.

Baptism Class

Baptism illustrates Christ’s death and resurrection. Baptism also refers to an outward/physical sign of an inward/spiritual truth. For instance, when the person being baptized goes under the water it symbolizes that his/her “old life” is buried. When the person comes out of the water it symbolizes their “new life” as a Christ-follower. Come and discover what baptism is all about.
