College

COMMON is an honest community of college-age people on a journey of faith.

Let’s just be honest about honesty for a momentan honest community is hard to find. At COMMON we have a lot of fun, but at the end of the day we don’t exist for fluffy stuff. We don’t gather together so that we can act like we have it all together, rather, we come together because we know that we need Jesus and we desire to be real before God and each other. We’re all about keeping it simpleGod comes first, He changes everything, and people need God. And, although they are hard to find at some churches, we are a community of people between the ages of 18-25. Most of the people that make up the DNA of COMMON are college students; some work full-time while some do graduate level stuff. If you consider yourself at this stage in life, then COMMON exists for you.

Come check out the COMMON community and join the journey.

Here’s what we do and where we do it...

COMMONcommunitygroups
COMMON is built around community groups. They are the lifeblood of what we do. They are basically people having real-life conversation around biblical ideasall groups are co-ed (COMMON bible studies are gender specific). These groups push spiritual buttons inside both the Christian that has been going to church for awhile as well as the person that might be trying to see if God really exists. You can join at anytime and it won’t feel awkward. Details on the COMMON fall community groups coming soon.

theCOMMONgathering
Although we’re all about community groups, we come together for worship and testimony and good times. Most of the time we’re in the Café on Sunday nights, but sometimes we head out to the beach or the park or the snowboarding mountains of Tahoe…and sometimes we play adult dodge ball.
