AwanaAwana is our fantastic mid-week ministry committed to reaching children and youth with the Gospel and training them to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. The acronym AWANA comes from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15.
"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
Awana blends Bible teaching, Scripture memorization, and tons of fun. Our Awana ministry impacts kids ages 3 to 18, their families, and our entire community while helping our church instruct parents, train volunteers, and make our children's ministry all that God intends it to be!
Today, 12,000 U.S. churches run Awana with programs in all 50 states. Awana can also be found in over 5,100 churches in 109 other countries and six continents.
Bible memory and sound doctrine build a Biblical worldview in the hearts and minds of our children. We use Awana to achieve this goal, since Awana provide a fun, dynamic approach to learning God’s Word. We are training future church leaders to serve today!
