• There is freedom in giving control to God. There is peace in following His ways.
• Having the light turn on and realizing that you need to praise the Lord for things you took for granted.
• God is always in my heart in sunshine and rain, in joy or in sorrow.
• God has taught me this week not to fear because He is in control–and no one else. Amen.
• Putting Him first. Becoming more outspoken.
• God has been helping me entrust my family to Him and to put Him first.
• Learning Bible doctrine has been changing my life. Faith alone in Christ alone has given me peace through all tribulations and prosperity.
• Knowing God is by my side helped me get through this tough week.
• He has given me the hope to reach out to get help finding Him and the peace I need.
• Through the death of my dad, God has given me and my sister strength and love and has shown us the value of His love and how life is a gift–enjoy every blessing.

Time is running out on our coin drive competition between Powerhouse and Underground. The battle to see which group brings in the most cash continues through Easter Sunday. The cause: Haiti. All monies go directly to the EFCA Haiti disaster relief. P.S. Yes, it’s a “coin drive,” but this might be a good time to “go green.”
Our main lot is frequently full. Don’t forget that we have off-site parking at Hopkins Junior High (across the street) and at both realty offices on the corners of Driscoll and Mission. Please park along the wall in these lots. Parking off-site is a great opportunity to show love to newcomers and families with small children by allowing them to park closer to the church!
At Bridges we believe in the power of volunteer involvement to shower love on those who need to know the truth of Christ. If you are interested in learning more about the various opportunities available to all skill levels and interests, please contact Shannon Roure | 510.651.2030 x210.
