Our Early Childhood department is staffed by loving, trained volunteers who are eager to meet the needs of your child while you attend our adult services. In order to provide the most age-appropriate setting for children to grow and learn about Christ’s love, our program is divided by age and developmental stages: Nursery, Toddlers, 2’s, 3’s, 4/5’s. Each class is designed to teach children from God’s Word, to grow them spiritually, and to help them mature into joyful, faithful servants of Christ. All volunteers are screened and fingerprinted, and are required to abide by our Childcare Protection Policy.
Nursery
Babies are cared for in our nursery, where trained volunteers demonstrate God’s love by promptly meeting their needs and showing them that Church is a fun, joyful place to be. Our nursery is carefully maintained for your child’s safety and health.
Toddlers
Toddlers aged 16-18 months old who are fully mobile and able to drink out of sippy cups are cared for by volunteers who specialize in comforting and engaging children in active play.
2’s
Our 2’s program is devoted to teaching children about Christ in a fun, interactive manner. Our mornings include a Bible-based puppet show and story time, worship time, snack time and free play.
3’s
Our 3’s program is devoted to teaching children about Christ in a fun, interactive manner. Our mornings include group time, a Bible-based puppet show and story time, worship time and snack time and free play.
4/5’s
Our team of dedicated volunteers guide children through a range of activities that include Bible stories, application lessons and small group discussions where children are encouraged to consider how the day’s lesson applies to their daily lives.
Volunteer
We have a full range of volunteer opportunities, ranging from behind-the-scenes tasks to working directly with children in all age groups. To sign up, fill out a Children’s Ministry application and make an appointment to be fingerprinted. Once your application is approved, a ministry leader will contact you about scheduling details.
